The State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety recently hosted a strategic session focused on organizational development, where it worked intensively on its 2024-2026 strategy. The event brought together not only the service’s employees but also representatives from the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the Chair of the Integrity Council of the State Bureau of Transport Safety (DSBT). Participants reflected on the successes and outcomes of 2024 and outlined priorities for the next two years. Key objectives include increasing transparency, digitalization, streamlining procedures, and aligning public and transport interests.
“We are committed to enhancing the level of transparency and accountability within our organization,” said Yevhen Zborovskyi, Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety. “Our transformation is focused on serving both the people and the nation, working towards balancing public and transport sector interests.”
The session also featured a discussion with a special guest, Yevhen Hlibovytskyi, a visionary and director of the Frontier Institute, as well as a long-term strategy expert. Hlibovytskyi shared his insights on Ukraine’s development prospects amid the ongoing war and in the post-war period, highlighting the crucial role the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety can play in future transformations. He emphasized the importance of addressing long-term challenges and leveraging each step of the transformation process to build a resilient transport system in Ukraine.
Throughout the session, the State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety team conducted an analysis of the external environment to align on priority tasks, while also formulating a plan for internal organizational changes. Facilitator Olena Yuzkova played a key role in helping the team systematize ideas and develop a shared understanding of the strategic goals for the future.
