The project supports the Government of Ukraine in implementing a comprehensive Public Administration Reform (PAR) to build a digital, service-oriented state that operates in the interests of citizens, based on European good governance practices.
Directions of Public Administration Reform
PAR is one of the three fundamental components (along with the rule of law and economic governance) in the EU enlargement strategy, and thus, in the EU accession process. An effective public administration is also essential for Ukraine's recovery and reconstruction.
Professional Civil Service
Within the framework of public administration reform, the transformation of the civil service is ongoing to retain and attract the best professionals.
Convenient Services and Procedures
One of the tasks is the further digitalization of administrative services, which will bring them closer to users and ensure they are provided using information technology.
Effective Governance
The aim of this direction is to create conditions in which government bodies develop public policy based on analysis results and communication with stakeholders, as well as ensure its effective implementation for the sustainable development of the state.
